The thin plastic construction doesn't seem like it will stand up to the test of time. It does sort of fit a 17" laptop, but the little tabs that hold the computer aren't tall enough or thick enough to give me any security that my laptop won't slide off the stand. The fan seems rather cheap, but so far works great. I just wish it were a a little quieter; however, it isn't horribly loud either. I tried my wife's 14" laptop and it actually fits the stand a lot better. I think I would recommend this stand if you have a small laptop and don't need a completely quiet fan. The price sure beats anything else out there, but you still are getting what you pay for. |
