I'm extremely pleased with this purchase! It is a lot heavier, thicker, and more durable than those flimsy Primus, MSR, or Brunton windscreen....plus, it's great that it's a folding windscreen. It will last a long time. Rest assured that this folding windscreen will save boil time and....of course gas, too!

If you are a minimalist, this won't be for you....besides, I use two since one is not enough to adequately encircle my stove. Don't lose those two "anchoring pins".

P.S. Be careful when using a windscreen with canister stoves. Unless you are using a separate stove converter, don't let the windscreen "crowd" the stove and feel the canister for any excessive heat. You don't want any explosion while cooking!

This is a good windscreen.

It is light and folds up very small so it is easy to pack. This one has 5 panels, if you want to make it smaller you can remove any one or more of the panels by pulling out the U shaped clips.

I bought 3 of these. I use one on the ground to make a clean flat cooking surface for my alcohol stoves and used the other two to make an 8 panel, 3 sided, wind screen.

You can also drill 2 small holes about 3" from the bottom of side panel 1 and panel 4 so you can insert metal skewers to act as a pot support and use a pop can stove under the skewers. You fully enclose the pot and direct the heat so you get a boil in 4 minutes even in cold windy conditions. You creative Bushcraft folks will have a lot of fun with this item.

This windscreen is perfect for what it's intended to do. It's lightweight and doesn't take up too much room in one's backpack. I have never had a need to use the stakes that are included and intended to secure the windscreen to the ground and I've never had a problem with the windscreen tipping over.
